The peristaltic pump DULCOFLEX DF2a meters chemicals functionally, cost-effectively and quietly – ideal for use in swimming pools, hot tubs, and in spa and wellness facilities.

The optimum pump product range for use in swimming pools, hot tubs, and spa zones.

The feed chemical is transported by the rotor squeezing the hose in the direction of flow. This explains why there is no need for valves. The feed chemical is thus handled with care. Typical applications: wherever lower pump pressure is sufficient. For example when metering conditioners in private pools.

Flocculants allow the smallest of particles dispersed as colloids to be removed from the swimming pool water. Our metering pumps can be set with great accuracy and ensure a precise and continuous supply of precisely calculated quantities of this flocculant.

Accurate metering counts

The metering of flocculants is an effective aid to the treatment of swimming pool water. This combined chemical and physical-technical process enables the filtration of tiny colloidal particles (< 1 µm) with a negative charge. The positively charged flocculant attracts these particles and macroflocs form, which can then be filtered, allowing undesired substances to be removed from the water circuit.

Minimise the consumption of chemicals

In order to minimise the consumption of chemicals, the circulating capacity can be reduced if the water values are spot on.

As a result the proportional metering of flocculant can be reduced too – with everything regulated and controlled by ProMinent measuring and control technology.

Constant and accurate metering

One crucial factor for flocculation is the constant and accurate metering of small volumes of flocculant.

As a pioneer of solenoid metering pumps, ProMinent’s product ranges can be used to accurately set a minimum metering volume using stroke length and metering frequency.

Continuously controllable metering

Alternatively, you can use our special peristaltic pump DF4a with CAN bus control to steplessly control flocculant metering.

This way you reliably supply the desired volume to your water treatment system at all times.
