The ozone systems DULCOZON OZLa are low-maintenance generators. The systems have a modular design and can therefore be flexibly adapted to the process requirements. The simple way in which individual modules are activated and deactivated ensures efficient, built-in redundancy and increases system availability. The ozone generators can be easily integrated into a process control system.

ProMinent waste water treatment solutions reduce environmental impact by achieving very high waste water quality. That means you can focus on production, knowing that the fully automated ProMinent waste water neutralisation system is working in the background to clean the water in line with strict mandatory requirements. Depending on the nature of the waste water, the pH can be controlled and brought to the required level, for example. pH sensors transmit the measured values to a controller. If the value varies from a specified level, a metering pump adds acid or lye to restore the pH to neutral. And of course, metering is very accurate to keep the consumption of expensive chemicals as low as possible.
Utility Water Treatment
It makes economic sense to reuse process water.
Why would you discharge water just because you’ve used it once? If this water is treated properly, it can be reused with ease, cutting costs in no time.
No matter whether it’s very dirty or hardly contaminated at all, process water is easy to treat with ProMinent products and systems. Our filters, reverse osmosis systems and chlorine dioxide metering prevent very dirty water from being contaminated again. Disinfecting with ozone or chlorine dioxide may be all that is required for slightly contaminated water or process water subject to less stringent requirements (water vapour in dairies for example). An investment in process water treatment pays off very quickly.
Removal of micro-pollution
Using powder activated carbon to effectively adsorb man-made trace substances
ProMinent also provides cost-effective solutions for challenging jobs in municipal waste water treatment: micro-pollutants are effectively removed by a complete system for accurately metering powder active carbon.
Man-made trace substances or micro-pollutants are substances which don’t break down easily, such as the remains of medicines, plant protection agents or industrial chemicals. Conventional waste water treatment cannot adequately remove these trace substances from waste water. So they build up in watercourses and natural environments thereby threatening ecosystems.
The metering of powder active carbon in the last stage of municipal waste water treatment systems has proven effective at eliminating such micro-pollutants.

Many dairies dispose of the vapour water produced during production via the sewer system. But it is often a good idea to reuse some of this water, firstly to cut high disposal costs and secondly to reduce the amount of fresh water used. For example, the water vapour can be used for the recooling towers, to flush all tanks and pipes, as a cleaning agent additive, as control water to flush the centrifuges or sometimes also in mould washing machines. Because vapour water often contains aromas and other organic substances, providing nutrients for germs, it is essential that it is first disinfected. Chlorine dioxide, reliably and safely generated on site with ProMinent’s Bello-Zon chlorine dioxide generation systems, is a cost-effective way of doing this.
